Arranging Your Session
Please arrange appointments in advance. If you find yourself running behind on the day, let Jo know as soon as you can. Arriving more than fifteen minutes after your start time is treated as a missed appointment: the session will not go ahead and the full fee is payable. If you arrive within fifteen minutes of your start time the session may still take place, though it may need to be shortened, and the full fee still applies.

Changing or Cancelling
At least 48 hours' notice is needed to cancel or move an appointment. A cancellation made with less than 48 hours' notice is charged at the full fee. A request to reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice is charged at half the original fee, in addition to the fee for the rebooked session. Missed appointments are charged in full. This applies in every case, without exception. From time to time Jo may need to cancel or move a session due to illness or circumstances outside her control, and will always give as much notice as possible.

Refunds and Gift Vouchers
Refunds are looked at individually and remain at Jo's discretion. Gift vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of issue. They may be passed on to someone else but cannot be refunded or exchanged for their cash value.

Younger Clients
Anyone under sixteen must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Those aged sixteen to eighteen require written consent from a parent or guardian before a session can take place.

About Your Treatment
Spinal Flow is a gentle, complementary approach that supports the body's own capacity for wellbeing. It is not a replacement for medical care and does not diagnose, treat or cure any illness, disease or physical or mental condition. No guarantees are made about the results of any session, and no liability can be accepted where a hoped-for outcome is not reached. Sessions do not involve prescribing medication or manipulating the spine by force.

Your Health and Suitability
Before your first visit you will be asked to complete a short health questionnaire, and to keep Jo informed of anything that changes afterwards. Please share any medical conditions, injuries or disabilities, any medication or treatment you are currently receiving, whether you are or may be pregnant, any allergies or sensitivities, and any recent surgery or medical procedures. Where a session may not be suitable for your circumstances, Jo may adjust or decline treatment, and you are welcome to speak with your GP beforehand if you have any concerns.

Attending When Unwell
Please do not attend if you are feeling unwell, have symptoms of an infectious illness, or have been advised to self-isolate. For the wellbeing of everyone, Jo reserves the right to postpone a session for anyone who appears unwell.

What to Wear
Sessions are carried out fully clothed, so please wear loose, comfortable clothing that lets you move and relax easily. Avoid anything restrictive (e.g. jeans, spandex) so you can settle comfortably throughout your treatment.

Respect and Conduct
Every session is carried out in a professional and therapeutic manner. Any inappropriate behaviour, advances or harassment will bring the session to an immediate end and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

Your Privacy and Personal Information
Your personal information, including the health details needed to treat you safely, is collected and handled in line with UK GDPR. It is used only to provide safe and appropriate treatment, to arrange and confirm your appointments, to meet legal and regulatory requirements, and for legitimate business purposes. It is not shared with anyone else unless the law requires it or an emergency makes it necessary. You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data at any time by getting in touch.
